With over 20 years of experience in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), Dr. Rachel Burnett has become a trusted expert in managing menopause and hormonal health. She has completed over 200 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 continuing medical education credits, solidifying her commitment to staying at the forefront of this field. Dr. Rachel is Advanced BHRT-Certified by The Academy for Preventive and Innovative Medicine by Worldlink Medical and is credentialed as a certified menopause specialist by The Menopause Society. Under the mentorship of renowned expert Dr. Neal Rouzier, Dr. Rachel has honed her skills in evidence-based medical management of aging and preventive medicine. Her dedication to women’s health has led her to serve as a spokesperson for the Forever Health Network of Physicians, and she has shared her expertise as a guest on Suzanne Somers’ talk show, The Suzanne Show. She is also the founder of Hormones and Beyond™, a membership program focusing on longevity and health span. Dr. Rachel holds a degree in biology with a minor in neural and behavioral sciences from Bryn Mawr College, where her thesis focused on the pharmacology of aging. She earned her doctorate in naturopathic medicine and a master’s degree in acupuncture from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. Following her Family and Integrated Medicine residency in Utah, certified by the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education, she established her private practice, Utah Natural Medicine, in 2004.Known for her personalized and compassionate care, Dr. Rachel empowers her patients to understand their health and make informed decisions about their wellness. She is passionate about hormone replacement therapy and is dedicated to creating individualized care plans that address the root causes of menopause-related symptoms and other chronic conditions. By integrating both Western and Eastern medicine, Dr. Rachel ensures a holistic approach to her patients’ health. She served on the Utah Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Board for 8 years and served as chair. She also served on the Utah Naturopathic Formulary Advisory Peer Committee. Outside the clinic, Dr. Rachel walks the talk: weight lifting, eating healthy food, spending time with her family and friends, caring for her backyard bees, and engaging in community service with organizations like Wheeler Farm Friends and the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation.
