Insurance
We are not in-network with any insurance companies. Treatment can be expensive and you are responsible for all costs. The cost of treatment differs for each person; however, our services are largely classified as non-covered. Some flex plans, health savings accounts, and insurance policies may cover visits with us as out-of-network providers. We can provide a superbill, including necessary codes and information for those who wish to submit for having seen an out-of-network provider. Coverage varies depending on your individual plan. Our patients choose to pay out-of-pocket for the care and services we provide.
If you are relying on whether insurance may reimburse for our services, please call your insurance company to see if you have naturopathic coverage and out-of-network benefits. Know if your deductible has been met and what the preferred lab company is if we order testing. We recommend you become familiar with your benefits before your visit.
We ask that patients pay at the time of service. We accept most credit cards, but do not accept checks.

Chart Review and Convenience Care Plan Service: This is offered as a convenience to patients for whom a full visit may not be necessary. It covers the doctor’s time to address a concern outside of a scheduled visit (e.g. changing a prescription or making a recommendation based on interpretation of labs, responding to emails or letters, addressing walk-in inquiries). This also applies to all insurance-related requests such as coded superbills for labs (those for visits are provided at no cost), letters of medical necessity, referrals, prior authorizations, etc. $45/5 minute block (Fee is waived for all members.)
A $150 deposit is required when you make your first appointment with Dr. Matthew Burnett. This deposit will be applied to your visit and is non-refundable in the event you cancel or reschedule less than 2 business days before your scheduled appointment or do not appear for your appointment.
Payment in full is required when you make your first appointment with Dr. Rachel Burnett. If you choose to cancel or reschedule within 2 business days of your scheduled appointment, you will receive a refund less a $150 non-refundable service fee.
It is important to us that you are clear on our Cancellation/Re-scheduling and No-Show Policy. We do not overbook or double book our doctors and their time is reserved exclusively for you. In order to accommodate other patients, we appreciate ample notification for rescheduling and cancellations. Return patients are charged a fee of $60 for either a less than 24 business hour cancellation or not appearing for an appointment.
